A Between You & Me story

“Your a liar! A god damn liar! You’ve been lying to me this whole time! What is wrong with you!” This is the first thing I hear from a female voice on the other end of the line from an unknown number 3 minutes after pretending to start doing stuff at my 9-5.

Me: Wait wait wait what are you talking about? Who is this?
Unknown: Don’t play dumb, I know who you are, you’ve been lying to me for 2 years. Your such a fake!
Me: Who the fuck is this? and what is your fucking deal?
Unknown: Don’t play dumb! I know you work at ——-, I know about guilty pleasure clothing, I know where you live!
(this is back before guilty people existed)

At this point I’m fully awake. This crazy bitch knew my shit! AaaaAAAand at 4 am that morning I had a missed call from that same number. So not only is the bitch informed and not good at answering questions but is also bat ass crazy and been waiting to rip into me since 4 am.

aortic valve dance party

Everyone show up to the next dance party this friday May 18th at the depot in York and get down!
Aortic Valve is probably the gnarlist party ever to come to york. It’s a tag team effort between video artist VJCA and audio artist DJ Evolution. We haven’t had a chance to talk to them yet but from what we know they started in Reading PA on a mission in experimental dual-sensory creativity. Luckily it’s an open social experiment mixed with booze and dancing. Everyone come out and check out this sweet as visual-audio experience. The example below gives you a little taste of what it’s like but you really have to be there when the video is displayed literally everywhere around you as you get down. Check out more on Aortic Valve on myspace.

guilty people hitting the scene

Yes finally after much toil, trouble and another word that starts with t, we have finally launched the site. How did we get here? Well for those of you who aren’t in-the-know guilty people started way back in oh-six as a clothing line with a message and mission. We (you and us) are going through this life blindfolded. We only know what’s around us right now. The future, minutes, tomorrow, next month, next year, after we die, we all have no idea what is going to happen and the only thing we know for sure is right now. That is why we believe you should never call it an early night, go after everything you ever wanted, and never look back. We are given life to have as much fun as fucking possible and those of us who are gifted with the ability to create should do so to no end. In the end you can be like everyone else or you can be yourself and do something great and original.

With that little rant out of the way we are super excited to get to work on building this vessel for creative energy. First issue of the magazine will be out this summer and will be choc-full of awesome stuff and will be available for free. For more info on our plans for the future check out the manifesto. Other then that check back here soon my babies for interviews with your favorite artist, artist you have never herd of, and the sweet shit you should know about.

keep it messed up everybody,
